On or before 2026-08-05
Changes dated or observed by 2026-08-05
Two kinds here, and the difference matters. A vendor-dated entry reports a date the vendor published. An observed-window entry reports only when something first appeared on the page between two of our reads — that is a detection window, not a launch date, and it does not establish that an exam became available. Each entry says which it is. Where an entry shows a checked date, that is when we read the page; where it shows only a vendor date, we do not hold one. This page was built once, on 2026-08-05, and does not refresh itself, so verify anything you are about to act on.
Retirement
Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate: the certification, exam AZ-204, and its renewal assessments retired on 2026-07-31, per the vendor's certification page read 2026-07-30. As of 2026-07-30 RoleMath had not verified a replacement path; the vendor's certification index is the place to check for one before treating this track as closed.†

How this feed works
Watched pages, dated snapshots, cited entries
Entries reach this page three ways. Some come from comparing two dated snapshots of a certification’s official vendor page — those are the ones reported as an observed window. Some are transitions and renames the vendor announced on their own page, carrying the vendor’s date, and the date we read it where we hold one. And some are retirements: credentials the vendor has withdrawn, or published a future withdrawal date for. Only substantive changes qualify — exam fees, exam codes and blueprint versions, renames, retirements, and vendor content announcements. URL formatting, retrieval timestamps, and other internal bookkeeping never appear here. Every entry links its source; certifications with a RoleMath page link through to the full cited detail.
Retirements are held to a stricter bar than anything else here, because telling you a credential is gone is the most costly thing this page can get wrong. Three rules, and each one holds entries back. The vendor must state a full calendar date — a credential recorded as retiring in “2013” is not published as a dated retirement. The retirement must be recent: for this 2026-08-05 build the earliest date we published was 2026-05-07, 90 days before it. Anything older is a credential we may well have retired correctly in our records, but have not re-read the vendor’s page for recently enough to publish. And the citation must actually say it: somebody read the vendor’s page, found the retirement stated there, and recorded the sentence, which you can see under the entry. A link that does not say what we say it says is not a citation. 2 retirements cleared all three rules in this build, out of 70 we hold records for. This is not a complete list of withdrawn credentials, and it is not meant to be.
And we do not tell you a retired credential has no replacement. We tell you whether we have verified one, as of the date we checked. Those are different claims and only the second is ours to make: a vendor may well have named a successor on a page we have not read. Treat a retirement here as a reason to open the vendor’s certification index, not as a reason to abandon the track.
What we won’t claim: the exact day a vendor changed its page, when we detected the change ourselves — those entries are reported as observed between two snapshot dates, which is what we actually know. That this list is complete — it covers the certifications RoleMath tracks, and only changes dated 2025-08-05 or later or announced for after 2026-08-05. Older changes are not shown here even where we hold them. A more precise date than the vendor published — where a vendor states only a year or a month, we print that and no more, and we will not use an imprecise date to decide whether something has taken effect. That a date we published has since held — this page was built once, on 2026-08-05, and does not refresh itself. And that anything here is a recommendation: a change is a record, and whether a certification is worth pursuing depends on your target role.
